I say this because college is not for everybody. I have seen an overwhelming amount of people go to college and drop out. So, me being, I wanted to know why did they go to college and drop out. Then, I started comparing their lifestyles together. In result, I started talking to people that went to college to see how it is. This brings me to my second reason. To me College is like your first steps into reality. We have so much more freedom. However, at the same time we also have a lot more responsibilities as well. I feel like going to college is allowing me to see what life is like without my mom and dad holding my hand all the time. It puts living on my own in little bite-sized capsules to slowly but surely associate myself into living somewhat by myself.

Not only is college allowing me to grow in academia but also as a young man, maturing even further into adulthood. The reason why I'm in college is because I want a better future for myself and to show my family that I can become somebody one day. In other words college is not for everybody because not everyone who lives with their parents who can afford for tuition for college. But for me I realize that staying alone and not doing nothing for me was the biggest mistake I ever made as young adult at the age of nineteen.
